Wedding Guide | Wedding Idea's | Wedding Venues | Wedding Transport
When choosing a green wedding venue consider where you want to hold your wedding. Although it’s quite tempting to have it in an isolated natural location, this may actually mean a less environmentally friendly wedding if your guests have to travel a long distance to get there. So maybe think about a central location where most of the guests won’t have to travel that far.
Once you have picked your ideal location, look for venues that are near to public transportation if possible, to help cut down the carbon emissions that your guests will generate getting there. More about Green Wedding Transport here.
Wherever possible, choose an outdoor environment for your wedding. You can then rely on the natural beauty around you to create that natural feel to your wedding. An outdoor venue also typically uses fewer resources than an energy inefficient reception/hall.
